San Antonio Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs acquiring Terry Rozier makes a lot more sense if this is something that happens sooner rather than later. This is a team that lost their starting point guard (Dejounte Murray) for the season before it even began.
And they’re a team that a productive, difference-making point guard could make all the difference from this team being a bottom three team in the Western Conference playoff picture to one with home-court advantage in the first round.
I’m not sure what it would cost the Spurs, but they do have a complimentary of picks and some contract-fillers that they could throw in to make it all work. After all, the Celtics wouldn’t be looking for all that much, considering they can’t really afford to take on any more salary.
