The Atlanta Hawks are your typical young, promising team. On some nights they’re going to look really impressive and beat some teams that they really have no business beating, and then on other nights they’re going to look like a typical young team – being blown out of the water.
The hope is that they will be more positive than negative when this season is all over with. Trae Young is likely the favorite to win the NBA’s Rookie of the Year, and he’s going to have the moments when he absolutely pops this season.
The Hawks aren’t terrible, and that’s a testament to their young talent right now. This team is a slightly better than many expected them to be this season. They’re ahead of the curve. That’s good news for their rebuild.
