Despite their faults on their roster, the Portland Trail Blazers are still playing as a top 5 team in the NBA right now. Led by Damian Lillard, who is 26 points per game this season, and C.J. McCollum this team has gotten off to a nice start.
This is one of the few teams in the NBA that has both a top 10 offense and defense, so it’s not like this start is without its legs to stand on. The big question is whether this team will be able to take this regular season success and cash it in for postseason results.
And that’s not a forgone conclusion. This team is still a piece away, it seems.
