2. Milwaukee Bucks (14-5)
Last week: 3
Led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and new coach Mike Budenholzer, the Milwaukee Bucks appear to be the real deal. Their defense is finally right, at least through the first month of the season, and their offense has been impressive.
The Bucks are looking more and more like the second, if not the best, team in the Eastern Conference right now. Had it not been for the Raptors trading for Kawhi Leonard over the summer, this is a team that would be running away with the top seed in the East.
That’s a pretty amazing statement, actually. The Bucks are finally living up to their potential. It’s been a long time coming.
