New York Knicks
Even though the New York Knicks are having somewhat of a wasted year this season, mostly because Kristaps Porzingis likely won’t play much, if at all, this season, this team is still one other star away from potentially being real players in the Eastern Conference next season.
Kristaps, when healthy, is one of the better players in the NBA. And he’s still getting better. If the Knicks could land a star at the caliber of Beal, it could really assist this team in their rebuild back to relevancy.
Not only would adding Beal help by easing the pressure off the shoulders of Porzingis, but he could also give this team a reliable second scoring option. And one that won’t come inefficiently.
This would be a move for 2-3 years down the line, but it would also instantly bring intrigue back to New York. And the NBA is so much better when the Knicks are not only good, but relevant.
