25. Brooklyn Nets (12-18)
The Brooklyn Nets just locked up Spencer Dinwiddie on a three-year, $34 million extension a couple days ago. And it helps make this team’s future a lot clearer. And the more they play, the more it looks like we’re beginning to see the last of D’Angelo Russell in a Nets uniform.
Nevertheless, the Nets are beginning to look more and more like a competent franchise, making smart, calculated decisions. If only this team could play the Wizards every game (who they’ve beat four times in a row), then they’d be on to something.
Kidding aside, the Nets are better than many expected them to be, but they’re still a ways away from making a push for the playoffs. And, yes, the loss of Caris LeVert doesn’t help. Here’s to hoping that we see him again at some point this season.
