9. Los Angeles Clippers (21-15)

Like many of the other teams that we simply didn’t expect to be here at this point in the season, the Los Angeles Clippers continue to impress. And I believe that it’s fair to say that this team is good, and will be a factor in the playoffs.

They are sitting top 4 in the West, and are led by one of the best coaches in the NBA. Doc Rivers has done a wonderful job this season, and has perhaps changed his reputation a bit after some flak he received while coaching the Chris Paul, Blake Griffin teams in Los Angeles.

The future is bright for the Clippers, and could be even more so depending on what happens during the summer.
