Wayne Ellington, Miami Heat

Wayne Ellington is a prime candidate for a trade in the coming weeks, as he has only appeared in 22 games for the Miami Heat this season and hasn’t played more than 15 minutes in a single game since mid-December.

He’s a great career 3-point shooter, and coming off a season in which he 39 percent from deep. He’s a capable defender in the right system, and isn’t a player that will be a negative players when he’s on the floor (assuming he’s hitting outside shots).

Ellington is a player that could help any contender such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers or Houston Rockets. Assuming he’s available, and there’s really no reason for him not to be, there will be a robust market for the veteran shooter.
