The Utah Jazz are a team that has reportedly already expressed interest in Mike Conley, and it’s safe to say that the team is all-in on this season. That means being big buyers at the NBA Trade Deadline and possibly taking big swings where there’s one to take.
Perhaps the organization believes that Mike Conley is the type of player that is worth taking a hack. When he’s at the top of his game, he’s arguably a top 10 point guard and has plenty of playoff experience to help the young Jazz.
Making the salary work could be difficult for Utah, but they have the means to make it work. Adding a veteran star to Donovan Mitchell in the back-court could also be a big help in, not only his development but his production.
