Current Standing: 6th

Remaining Schedule Strength: 3rd

The Brooklyn Nets have done a great job of taking the Eastern Conference by surprise and are currently the 6th seed in the Eastern Conference standings. Despite numerous injury issues, this team has come together and made a strong case for the playoffs.

Led by first-time all-star D’Angelo Russell, Caris LeVert and others, the Nets will likely make a return to the post-season for the first time since the 2014-15 season. Where they could face trouble, however, is the fact that the Nets have the third most difficult remaining schedule in the NBA – with still two games against the Bucks and one against the Raptors.

The Nets have been a great story so far this season, but if they’re going to make the playoffs this season, they’re going to have to play their best basketball yet in the final few week of the season.
