NBA: 10 biggest storylines to follow in the post-All-Star break push
Will the Nuggets continue to be a threat?
There’s no question that the Denver Nuggets have been one of the biggest surprises in the NBA this season. Through the first three quarters of the season, they’ve been the second-best team in the Western Conference – and are only two games back of the Warriors for the top spot.
Despite their impressive 39-18 record, it’s natural for many to question whether the Nuggets will be able to translate their regular season success into being a real threat come playoff time. Led by Nikola Jokic, Paul Millsap and Jamal Murray, it’s going to be interesting to see how the Nuggets close the season.
Will they be viewed as a real threat to come out of the West or, at the very least, to even push a team like the Warriors in a seven-game series? We should find out soon enough.
