17. Detroit Pistons – Luguentz Dort, G, Arizona State
The Detroit Pistons will be a playoff team this season, short of an epic collapse over the next couple of weeks, but there’s still a sense of disappointment from this team. With that said, there’s no question that this team needs help in the backcourt.
Taking a player like Luguentz Dort could help fill that void. Perhaps he may not be the answer right away, but he’s at least a player that can grow with the team.
Dort is averaging 16 points and four rebounds per game on 41 percent shooting from the field, and while his consistency still needs work, continues to prove that he has the potential to be effective at the next level.
