13. San Antonio Spurs (43-31)

Winners of eight of their last 10, the San Antonio Spurs are arguably playing the best basketball of the season thus far. Despite their excellent play over the last couple of weeks, the Spurs are still sitting in the 8th spot in the Western Conference playoff picture.

The good news is that they’re only one game back from the 5th seed, so there’s still a good chance that the Spurs could avoid the Warriors or Nuggets in a potential first-round series. With that in mind, this team is going to no question be a tough out no matter who they face in the playoffs.

The big question, of course, is whether or not this team has what it takes to pull off an upset in the playoffs. They have the history, but this is a much different team.
