30. New York Knicks (14-60)
With less than 10 games left in the regular season, it’s no surprise that the New York Knicks are still sitting at the bottom of the NBA standings (or top if you’re a see the glass half full type of person). Entering the NBA Draft Lottery, the Knicks will have as good as a shot as any other team to secure the top spot in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Which now we all know means landing Zion Williamson. All in all, especially after securing the cap space needed to be big players in free agency during the off-season, I think it’s safe to say that they’ve put themselves in perfect position to make some major noise heading into next season.
Question is, will this front office manage to push the right buttons when it becomes necessary to do so? That’s something that has plagued the Knicks for quite a while and is really the only thing that might stand in the way of a potentially exciting summer.
