27. Chicago Bulls (21-53)
Chicago is another interesting team with a ton of talent on their roster. However, they simply failed to put it all together this year – which I may or may not be a little more triggered by it because I picked them to be my sleeper playoff team in the East. Nevertheless, there is a road back to relevancy that begins with them getting a bit of luck at the draft lottery.
If the Bulls can land a top tier point guard – Ja Morant would be ideal – in the top 10, it would help catapult this team into one of the best young cores in the league. With Zach LaVine coming on this season, and the continued progress of Lauri Makkanen and Wendell Carter Jr., a high quality player like Morant could take the Bulls to the next level.
Plus, Morant fills a void that has been on Chicago’s roster ever since Derrick Rose went down with that initial injury.
