23. New Orleans Pelicans (31-44)
From here on out, we have to work under the assumption that the New Orleans Pelicans are eventually going to move Anthony Davis, but until they do it’s really difficult to assess where they are as a franchise.
This season, though, the Pelicans have been a disappointment. And that’s not even counting the entire AD trade demand. Apart from that, the Pelicans were already underwhelming this season and were not on track to make the playoffs.
However, no matter where this team stands at the end of this season, the hope is that they will have at least a top 10 pick, perhaps more ammo, heading into the draft (after the AD trade) in an attempt for this team to successfully hit the reboot button heading into next year.
