17. Brooklyn Nets: P.J. Washington, Kentucky

After a bit of an injury scare headed into the NCAA Tournament, it’s expected that P.J. Washington could be ready to rejoin the Kentucky Wildcats sooner rather than later. And if the Wildcats are going to continue dancing, they’re going to need him.

Washington is a 6-foot-8 forward that could fill up the stat sheet, averaging 15 points, eight rebounds and two assists this season in Kentucky, on 52 percent from the field and 41 percent from 3-point range.

Washington has starkly improved from his freshman to sophomore seasons at Kentucky, and will make any team happy – even more so if he falls outside the lottery.
