3. Charlotte Hornets: R.J. Barrett, Duke

Not only would the Charlotte Hornets be ecstatic if they jumped into the top 3 of the 2019 NBA Draft, but almost equally happy if they were to have R.J. Barrett fall to them with the No. 3 overall pick.

Barrett is the perfect star that they could stick next to Kemba Walker, who they hope to re-sign when he hits free agency this summer. However, even if Kemba were to leave, they could rebrand around their top 3 pick, who has proven that he could lead a team in scoring.

It’s somewhat impressive that Barrett has been able to lead Duke in scoring this season, especially considering the amount of talent that they have on the roster. Barrett falling to three would make a lot of teams happy.
