Los Angeles Clippers
When discussing teams that surpassed expectations during the 2018-19 NBA season, it’s impossible to tell the entire story without including the Los Angeles Clippers. Entering the season, not many expected them to even sniff the playoff race in the Western Conference.
However, they’ve consistently been the better of the two Los Angeles teams for much of the season, and are sitting in the sixth seed in the West. Even after trading Tobias Harris, the Clippers haven’t missed a beat.
Considering what the Clippers have accomplished this season with the minimal talent on their roster, and that they will have a ton of cap space in the summer, it’s no surprise that they’re expected to be one of the prime landing spots for a number of the big-name free agents in free agency.
