There might not have been a more disappointing team this season than the Los Angeles Lakers. After signing LeBron James during the summer, many expected the Lakers to be somewhat of a factor in the Western Conference.

Even if you didn’t believe that the Lakers would be a contender in the West this season, at the very you least you were sold on the fact that LeBron’s addition would be enough to catapult the Lakers into the playoffs.

However, perhaps in large part to injury, the Lakers did not qualify for the playoffs and will have even more questions to answer during the off-season. The hope and thought is that the Lakers will – or should – rebound next season, but after what we witnessed this season that’s no longer a given.
