Los Angeles Clippers

Record: 47-34

Best Case: The Clippers lose in their first round series to the Warriors but score a major win when they sign Kawhi Leonard and another big name free agent in the offseason. The Clippers immediately become threats to the Warriors and Rockets in the West.

Worst Case: Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant and other big name free agents decide to not sign with the Clippers and they come into next season looking like a team that isn’t much better than it was last season.

San Antonio Spurs

Record: 47-34

Best Case: Gregg Popovich puts on a coaching clinic as the Spurs force seven games vs the Nuggets and pull off the upset.

Worst Case: The Spurs get beat in a sweep and they don’t look very competitive in the losses.
