27. Brooklyn Nets (via Nuggets) – Admiral Schofield, G, Tennessee
Adding Rui Hachimura with their first first-round pick in the draft, there really isn’t anything the Nets could do to damper what they are building. This is a good place for them to take swing on potential.
Taking a flier on a big shooting guard wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world for the emerging Nets. At 22 years old, Schofield might be the oldest player drafted in this year’s class, but that shouldn’t have teams shy away from him.
He has great size and over 40 percent from 3-point range on nearly 5 attempts per game this season. Any team could use that type of deep shooter.
