You can’t really question Kawhi Leonard anymore
Even when Kawhi Leonard was the superstar that helped lead the San Antonio Spurs to an NBA Championship over the Miami Heat in 2014, it was easy to question whether or not he could do it somewhere else or if he was just being advantageous in the Spurs’ system.
Then, even more questions arose after he had an injury-plagued season a year ago. Some were throwing around the idea that he wouldn’t be worth the trouble and headache and that he isn’t a No. 1 player in today’s game.
Fast forward to this season, and Leonard has all but shut down all those sentiments. Through the first three games in the playoffs too, Kawhi is averaging 26 points, seven rebounds and four assists on 50 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent from 3-point range. You could perhaps call Kawhi a drama bug, but you can’t question his talent anymore.
