Under the assumption that the New Orleans Pelicans will trade Anthony Davis at some point over the next few months, he will be leaving a huge void on the roster that the team likely won’t be able to entirely fulfill this summer – unless they miraculously jump into the top 3 of the NBA Draft.

However, picking at No. 8, the only way that the Pelicans could really make much of a splash if they take a player that is surrounded with the most mystery. And that is none other than Bol Bol. Had he not been injured early in the season, Bol probably would be drafted in the top 5 of this draft.

Looking at his numbers, Bol was absolutely insane this season – averaging 21 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks on 56 percent shooting from the field and an outrageous 52 percent shooting from 3-point range. The Pelicans would be taking a big gamble, but this is the type of high risk, high reward move that a team like the Pelicans has to take amid their circumstances.
