The Utah Jazz is another team interested in a point guard this summer, and it wouldn’t be surprising for them to take a flier on one late in the first round. And, in this scenario, Ty Jerome falls to them at No. 23.
Jerome isn’t exceptional at any one aspect in the game, but he does everything well enough to be an effective player when he’s on the floor. And that should be enough for him to find a nice home as a backup point guard at the next level.
Utah could find a starting point guard via trade – or even re-sign Ricky Rubio – but adding Jerome could really help this team’s depth at the position next season.
