Golden State Warriors

Key additions: D’Angelo Russell, Willie Cauley-Stein

Key subtractions: Kevin Durant Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston

It’s never a good offseason when you lose arguably the best player in the world, and that’s exactly what happened to the Golden State Warriors. Oh, and they also had to cut bait with Andre Iguodala in the process.

The good news is that the Warriors did manage to acquire D’Angelo Russell via a sing-and-trade with the Nets. However, the fit isn’t all that great and will seem even worse when Klay Thompson returns from injury.

The Warriors still have Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay (when he returns from injury) but it feels like the end of an era in Golden State.
