The Portland Trail Blazers have had a busy summer and made to big trades that will hopefully help take this team to the next level – and transform this team into legit contenders in the Western Conference.
They took the chance on Hassan Whiteside and Kent Bazemore, two players that are on expiring contracts. So, if it doesn’t work out for them this season, it’s not a huge risk. The hope is that Jusuf Nurkic returns at some point this season, so there is a chance that this team is better equipped for more postseason success this season.
