Brooklyn Nets

Key additions: Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan

Key subtractions: D’Angelo Russell, Allen Crabbe, Jared Dudley

There’s an argument to be made that the Brooklyn Nets won the 2019 NBA offseason, after landing two of the top 5 free agents on the open market. However, the fact remains that this team won’t fully receive the fruits of their 2019 offseason labors until next season, as KD is expected to miss all of 2019-20.

Still, the Nets should be a playoff team this upcoming season with Kyrie Irving essentially replacing D’Angelo Russell in the team’s starting lineup. The Nets will no longer play second fiddle to the Knicks.

Brooklyn will be major players in 2020-21, thanks to what they accomplished this summer.
