Marquee summer move: Drafted Jarrett Culver, held on to Andrew Wiggins
The Minnesota Timberwolves had an interesting offseason but didn’t seem to make any major moves. They were reportedly in the mix for D’Angelo Russell until they weren’t, and there were more Andrew Wiggins trade rumors.
In the end, the Wolves drafted Jarrett Culver and stood pat during free agency. Whether it’s not finding the right deal, or giving the young duo of Karl-Anthony Towns and Wiggins another shot, the Wolves are hoping for big development in 2019-20.
Minnesota left much to be desired during the 2019 offseason, but perhaps they will make a big move soon. Or, perhaps this is the year that Wiggins finally gets it right and lives up to the expectations.
