The Nuggets picked up where they left off

After what the Lakers and Clippers did this offseason, many projected these two teams to be the class of the Western Conference. Which is why we should be thankful that the Denver Nuggets have picked up where they left off last season. The Nuggets were the surprise of the Western Conference last season but fizzled out in the playoffs.

Many were concerned that last year was just an aberration, and that Denver could’ve come out flat to start this season. That, in short, hasn’t happened. In fact, the Nuggets, at 13-3, have the second-best record in the Western Conference and have an impressive win over the red-hot Celtics already under their belts.

The Nuggets appear to be a real threat in the West this season and are really the only “other” team that will challenge the Lakers or Clippers this year.
