28. Cleveland Cavaliers (5-17)

It’s not surprising to see the Cleveland Cavaliers in the bottom 5 at this point in the season. That was pretty much expected heading into the season. If this team was going to show any real improvement, it was always going to come to fruition during the latter portion of the season.

The Cavs are young and exciting, but at the same time have two veterans that could be on the move at the NBA Trade Deadline. Trading Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love could help Cleveland add to their already exciting core. Question is, will they make it happen?

27. Memphis Grizzlies (6-16)

Perhaps you might be a little surprised to see the Memphis Grizzlies at this ranking. However, it’s still early and Ja Morant has, to at least a certain extent, started a bit slow to the season. Though, he’s coming around and looks as good as advertised.

I expect the Grizzlies to only get better as the season unwinds. The Grizzlies are never an easy out and are always looking to outwork the opposition – making up for their lack of talent in that manner.
