22. Sacramento Kings (8-13)

The Sacramento Kings have been one of the most frustrating teams this season. Instead of taking a step forward in the team’s overall progression, it appears that they’ve taken a step back in the Western Conference. At least through the first quarter of the season.

DeAaron Fox is the real deal and Buddy Hield has been solid, but other than those two it’s really hard to pinpoint where this franchise is headed. And I can’t help but scratch my head at that Harrison Barnes extension that will, in my opinion, will only look worse and worse.

21. Charlotte Hornets (9-15)

Hey, how about we inject a little positivity in this article? We’ve arrived at the Charlotte Hornets who have actually been a bit better than I thought they’d be this season. They might not be blowing the doors open in the East, but they’re not terrible either.

And after everything that transpired this offseason, I believe that’s something the team can consider a positive. Only two games out of the eighth spot in the East, perhaps it isn’t out of the realm of possibility for this team to sneak into the playoffs.
