16. Phoenix Suns (10-12)

The Phoenix Suns had a surprising red-hot start to the season, but have fallen back to reality a bit. They’ve especially struggled recently in which they have lost eight of their last 11. The good news is that Devin Booker looks like an absolute superstar and, at the very least, the franchise knows they have one strong building block.

After that, it’s been a crapshoot for the team. The suspension to Deandre Ayton might be finally catching up with the team, and it has certainly shown of late. With that said, I still don’t know if the Suns are good or not at this point in the season.

15. Minnesota Timberwolves (10-11)

Much like the Suns, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been a pleasant surprise this season. Even though they’ve fallen a bit back to earth recently, this team still has the look of one that will be in the mix for a playoff spot.

Karl-Anthony Towns has been superb and Andrew Wiggins might have finally gotten it all to click. Perhaps this team is finally ready to be the team many expected them to be a couple of years ago?
