3. Kevin Garnett (2003) ~ 37 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals, 1 block

On what probably was the greatest NBA All-Star Game of all time, Kevin Garnett took home the night’s highest honor. In Michael Jordan’s last appearance, this game went to a double-overtime shootout.

From there, Garnett took over and made sure the West came out on top. Shooting an incredible 70 percent from the field, the Big Ticket was unflappable in his pursuit to help his squad pull out the victory.

2. LeBron James (2008) ~ 27 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals, 1 block

Coming off an epic-playoff run from the year before, the world was on notice that LeBron James was the best player in the NBA. The 2008 All-Star Game was just another reason to cement his status. Playing with future Miami Heat teammates and Boston Celtics foes, James was able to muster a mere 54 percent shooting from the field, and just two rebounds and one assist from a triple-double.

He also came through in the clutch, dunking on nearly the entire Western Conference lineup to take the lead with under a minute left in the game.

Who puts a monster defensive performance in an All-Star Game? Michael Jordan. The GOAT takes the top spot here because he was able to torment the opposing team, a common thread between all of these players on this list.
