What will we see from Zion Williamson in the second half of the season?

Even though it took a few months to finally see him step foot on a meaningful NBA game, the wait was worth it for the Zion Williamson. In just 10 games, Zion is averaging 22 points and nearly eight rebounds per game on 57 percent shooting from the field and 36 percent from 3-point range.

He’s been everything as advertised and then some. Even after bending a rim after a ferocious dunk in the NBA Rising Stars Challenge, the verdict is still out on Zion. Even though he’s played an impressive 10 games, he still has to prove that he’s durable and a franchise star. Those aren’t questions that can be answered in 10 games, unfortunately.

Even though the New Orleans Pelicans have their work cut out for them to even begin to sniff the playoff picture, all eyes will be on how this phenom continues to grow and develop his game during the final stretch of his rookie season.

If nothing else, that’s a great reason to watch the Pelicans the rest of the way. And, who knows, maybe they can begin to inch their way into the playoff picture. They’re only 5.5 games out of the final playoff spot.
