10. Donovan Mitchell/Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz
Combined stats: 39 points, 18 rebounds, six assists
The Utah Jazz was one of the most confusing teams in the Western Conference this season, fluctuating between a really good and not so good team throughout the season. However, at the hiatus, the Jazz is currently in the fourth seed of the West and was beginning to play some of their best basketball as of late.
And a big reason why is because of their dynamic duo of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. Even though these are the team’s highest-scoring duo, Mitchell and Gobert complement each other perfectly. Gobert anchors the team’s defensive side of the floor while Mitchell is the straw that stirs the team’s offense. The team is not the same without either one of these players.
The Jazz is eventually going to make a deep playoff run in the West, and perhaps it would’ve come this season before the NBA world turned on its head, and their hopes and dreams are going to lie on the shoulders of Mitchell and Gobert.
Mitchell and Gobert are going to be one of the league’s most dangerous duos for years to come.
