Miami Heat

It’s no surprise to see the Miami Heat on this list. Just a few years ago, they were the villains of the league when LeBron James and Chris Bosh decided to join Dwyane Wade during the summer of 2010. Even though the Heat has not been in the limelight since LeBron elected to make the move back to Cleveland, Giannis signing in Miami would automatically bring back some of those same feelings to most non-Heat fans.

Plus, if we’re really looking for parity, Giannis joining the Heat wouldn’t exactly be that. Giannis would automatically make the Heat true contenders in the Eastern Conference and would eliminate one of their biggest challengers in Milwaukee.

The Heat is already planning on making a run at Giannis during the summer of 2021 and will likely get a meeting if he really does test free agency. The Heat have the lure, they have the young talent, and have the leadership.

Miami is a real threat to potentially sign Giannis in 2021, but it would be a huge L for many fans.
