19. Milwaukee Bucks (via Indiana) – Aleksej Pokusevski, F, Olympiacos Piraeus
The Milwaukee Bucks have a roster that is ready to win an NBA Championship. And they will be favorites in the Eastern Conference as long as Giannis Antetokounmpo is a member of the team. Selecting Aleksej Pokusevski could be a fit for a team like the Bucks that don’t need any prospect to contribute right away.
Pokusevski is far from a sure prospect in the 2020 draft class but he is one of the most interesting ones. He stands over 7-foot tall and has a 7-foot-3 wingspan. He’s a versatile defender and a capable offensive player.
He’s coming off a season in which he averaged 11 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and nearly two blocks per game. The Bucks took a chance on Giannis a few years ago and it certainly paid off. Perhaps Pokusevski could yield the same results
