21. Denver Nuggets (via Houston) – Kira Lewis Jr., B, Alabama
Kira Lewis Jr. might not be drafted in the top half of the first round in the 2020 NBA Draft, but in 3-4 years could end up being one of the better players from this year’s draft class. What Lewis is known for as a prospect is his speed and quickness, which is something that the Denver Nuggets will welcome.
Even though he’s only listed at 6-foot-3, his 6-foot-6 wingspan helps him play much bigger than his frame. His speed and length suggest that he could be a good – and versatile – defender at the next level too. Lewis still needs to prove that he can be a consistent playmaker, especially playing the point guard position.
During his sophomore season at Alabama, Lewis averaged 19 points, five rebounds, and five assists per game on 46 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent from 3-point range. Kira Lewis Jr. could be an interesting addition for a team that is absolutely loaded with talent.
