Golden State Warriors trade target: Kevin Love

Warriors get: Kevin Love

Cavaliers get: Kelly Oubre Jr., Mikal Bridges, Ty Jerome

Suns get: Andrew Wiggins, 2020 first-round pick

Last but not least is a trade candidate that is not foreign to the Golden State Warriors. Kevin Love has been connected to the Warriors before and will likely be once again if they’re serious about trading their draft pick to add a veteran presence that will help them win a championship during the 2020-21 season.

Kevin Love might not be the perennial all-star presence that he was during his time with the Wolves when he broke into the league, but he’s still a very good player at the age of 31. He’s coming off a season in which he averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists on 45 percent shooting from the floor and 37 percent from 3-point range.

Love would be an ideal fit for the Warriors and a seamless addition. He wouldn’t bring much on the defensive side of the ball but would benefit from having Draymond Green playing beside him. Love is still an elite rebounder for his position and one of the more consistent shooters – and would see even better opportunities playing off Curry and Thompson.

If the Golden State Warriors are looking for a star to compete next season, Kevin Love might be their best option.
