13. New Orleans Pelicans – RJ Hampton, SG, New Zealand Breakers

RJ Hampton might be one of the biggest names in the 2020 NBA Draft, but also comes as one of the biggest potential busts as well. He has great size and has shown the ability to be a dynamic scorer. He has everything you want in a prospect, but still remains one of the biggest unknown from the draft class.

Being drafted by the Pelicans, Hampton would help create one of the exciting young cores in all of basketball – along with Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram. In the event that the Pelicans trade Jrue Holiday and/or JJ Redick, adding to the backcourt would help give this team the insurance that it needs.

Hampton is coming off a season in which he averaged nine points and four rebounds per game on 41 percent shooting from the field. There are questions about his offensive efficiency, but it’s hard to truly gauge off such a small sample size.
