NBA prediction No. 6: Skinny Jokic will have his coming out party in the playoffs

For most attentive fans of the NBA, Nikola Jokic has come to be a household name for the Denver Nuggets over the course of the last few seasons. However, for casual fans, I’m not sure if Jokic is a name that will roll off the tongue. That will change after the NBA playoffs.

Skinny Jokic will take the Western Conference by storm. Depending on how seeding shakes out, I believe the Nuggets will have a great chance at making it to the Western Conference Finals. The Nuggets fell one game short of making it to the conference finals last season but will avenge their loss this season.

A big part of that will be Jokic and the impact that he will have. Before the hiatus, Jokic was averaging 20 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists on 53 percent shooting from the field and 31 percent shooting from 3-point range.

Jokic will have his coming out party in the playoffs and in front of a national TV audience. Get ready, The Joker is about to be unleashed.
