X-factor: Justise Winslow

Clinging on to the 8th seed in the Western Conference, the Memphis Grizzlies will need to be at their best in order to make the playoffs when the NBA’s restart begins. One big part of doing that could rely on the return of Justise Winslow, who up until the hiatus still hadn’t made his debut with the Grizzlies.

He was acquired from the Miami Heat at the NBA Trade Deadline in the larger Andre Iguodala deal and could be a big reason why the Grizzlies hold onto the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. Winslow could do a little of everything – he can distribute, score, and defend at a high level.

Winslow might not play an extended role for the Grizzlies when the season restarts, but there’s no question that he could be a sneaky x-factor for the team in the Orlando bubble. Question is, will he be fully healthy? From all indications, that appears to be the case at the moment.
