21. Brooklyn Nets (30-34)
Roughly a year removed from signing both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant during the 2019 NBA offseason, the Brooklyn Nets will be heading into the restart sitting in the 7th seed of the Eastern Conference, but not many expect this team to make much noise once games actually begin taking place.
Not because of where this team currently stands as a franchise, but because no team in the NBA has had to battle through more injuries this season than Brooklyn. Apart from the injuries to both Durant and Kyrie, Spencer Dinwiddie, Taurean Prince, DeAndre Jordan, and Wilson Chandler have also opted-out of the league’s restart.
The Nets signed Michael Beasley and Jamal Crawford this past week in an attempt to round out their roster as they entered the bubble. The Nets likely won’t fall out of the playoff picture, but it’s hard to expect this team to win any games against the Raptors or Bucks, whoever they face, in the first round of the playoffs.
