Minnesota Timberwolves
3 top targets: Anthony Edwards, LaMelo Ball, Isaac Okoro
The Minnesota Timberwolves should feel excited about their future. With D’Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns leading the way, you could make the argument that the Wolves are one or two pieces away from being a problem in the Western Conference. Could that player emerge from the 2020 NBA Draft?
If they do end up selecting third, perhaps it could come in the way of a LaMelo Ball (if he’s still on the board at No. 3). He’s dynamic enough to play next to Russell and would be a good ticket-seller (assuming we’ll be able to have fans back in arenas sooner rather than later).
Isaac Okoro is one of my favorites for the Wolves. He’s a wing player that would fit with this roster and can add a defensive presence to a team that desperately needs one on the perimeter. If Okoro is really the dynamic prospect that many project him to be, the Wolves could be in a great position in a couple of years.
