20. Brooklyn Nets (via Philadelphia) – Patrick Williams, F, Florida State

Heading into the 2020 NBA Draft, the Brooklyn Nets won’t be looking for any life-savers. They have Kyrie and Durant on the way to help. Any player that they select with the No. 20 pick will be seen as a bonus for this team’s talented roster.

It was somewhat surprising to see Patrick Williams declare in the NBA Draft, but he’s a talented forward that could develop into a really nice player in a few years. Playing next to Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will make his life and transition to the NBA whole lot easier.

Don’t expect Williams to make much of an impact during his rookie season, and I don’t think the Nets need him to. This team is talented and could be looking at Williams as a project that will pay off in a few years.
