21. Sacramento Kings

Once again, the Sacramento Kings’ season will end in disappointment. The Kings are not making the playoffs and will have to wait another season to take the next step as a franchise. For a team as talented as the Kings are, there’s no question that this season will be remembered as another missed opportunity.

It’s not exactly surprising for those that have been paying attention to this franchise and perhaps we should’ve seen this playing out when it was announced that Marvin Bagley would miss the restart. Still, I don’t think anyone had the Kings going 1-4 through the first five games in the restart.

Even though not many gave them a true chance of making the playoffs, you’d had to believe that his team would at least come out admirable and make things a bit interesting. Nevertheless, there we are again. The Kings are going to miss the playoffs for the 14th straight season. Talk about a playoff drought. Sheesh.
