What went wrong for the Bucks

On the other hand, as far as the Bucks are concerned, while they played poor on the offensive end in spurts, what really hurt Milwaukee was how well Orlando played offensively. The Magic hit more 3’s than the Bucks at shot 49 percent from the field overall compared to Milwaukee’s 43 percent. Giannis Antetokounmpo being held scoreless over the last 10 minutes of action didn’t help matters either.

Nikola Vucevic outscored Giannis and the Magic’s supporting cast outscored Milwaukee’s. You’d have to think that generally won’t happen again, and certainly not three out of the next six games. There are still legit concerns about Milwaukee’s defense. The Bucks went from having the league’s best defense pre-hiatus to the NBA’s 10th ranked defense in the eight seeding games.

If nothing else, it’s certainly something to keep an eye on. As long as Giannis is the best player on the floor, the Bucks should be fine in this first-round series against the Magic. Orlando is a great story, but I’m not so sure they can maintain their Game 1 level of play throughout the series.
