2. NBA gods rewarding the Phoenix Suns for their bubble play

Before the NBA bubble, the Phoenix Suns were somewhat more of a joke than a threat. They have two really nice young players in Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton, but this team was trending in the wrong direction before the hiatus. In the restart bubble, however, they completely changed the narrative.

Devin Booker was (look away Damian Lillard fans) arguably the best individual player in the bubble and led the Suns to a perfect 8-0 record. If you didn’t believe in Booker before, there’s no denying that fact now – he’s a legit star in the NBA and is only getting better. Even without a top 10 pick, you can make the argument that the Suns are a team to watch next season.

The NBA gods rewarding the Suns for their play in the restart bubble would be quite the story. Can you imagine the Suns jumping into the top 3 and potentially landing LaMelo Ball or Anthony Edwards?

The Suns would not only be a great story but would be set up for the future and potentially quiet any Booker trade whispers. It would be quite the story.
