27. New York Knicks – Tyler Bey, F, Colorado
Tyler Bey is an interesting prospect that I’m not sure many know what to make of yet. Hopefully some pre-draft workouts will help answer some of those questions. Nevertheless, he could be in play for being a late-first round pick.
Bey is coming off a season in which he averaged 14 points and nine rebounds on 53 percent shooting from the field. Perhaps what was most interesting was his 42 percent shooting from 3-point range that he posted. It was only on one shot attempt per game, so he’ll have to prove that further.
28. Los Angeles Lakers – Cassius Winston, G, Michigan State
The Los Angeles Lakers have needed a point guard since the days of D’Angelo Russell; it’s only natural for them to value the position at the 2020 NBA Draft. One fit is Cassius Winston, who was extremely productive during his final two seasons at Michigan State.
During his final season at Michigan State, Winston averaged 19 points and six assists on 45 percent shooting from the field and 43 percent shooting from 3-point range. Impressive.
